Sweet potatoes are beta-carotene filled which converts to vitamin A when in the body. This ingredient can help with promoting hair growth; however, it should be used in moderation as it can also bring problems to your hair such as dull, lifeless hair or even dandruff. Although vitamin A is good for cell growth, it isn’t uncommon to have an adverse outcome from too much of a good thing.
Peel and boil your sweet potato, then add a tablespoon of raw honey, coconut oil, and coconut milk and blend them all. Apply to your hair as usual.
Tomatoes can help immensely for your hair and head health; not only is it good for your hair but it can also help with the removal of toxins off of your scalp. This ingredient can also lead to shiny and lustrous hair.
Tomatoes can be both consumed and applied directly to your hair. When using a tomato hair mask, it is best to use the tomato juice; if you want to keep it simple, you don’t even have to add anything else. Just squeeze some tomato juice and then apply it directly to your scalp.
However, you can also add around two tablespoons of honey with two tomatoes if you want an extra boost to your hair.
Spinach and other dark-leaved vegetables like it can provide iron to your hair, especially if you happen not to be getting enough iron from lack of oxygen.
Spinach is one of these ingredients that you don’t necessarily have to put in your hair to work; while you can live with a mixture of blended spinach, honey, and carrier oil; you can also make a smoothie out of it instead to drink.
Both ways can provide hair growth benefits.
